IDMM combines Disciple Making Movement (DMM) and Community Health Evangelism (CHE) into a single, reproducible framework that addresses the spiritual, physical, and social needs of individuals and communities — leading to lasting transformation for the glory of God.
Rooted in Genesis 12:3 — "In you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed" — IDMM exists to see every community reached with the good news of Jesus Christ and equipped to flourish in every dimension of life.
We believe that the local church, empowered by the Holy Spirit and equipped with practical tools, is God's primary agent of transformation. IDMM training gives ordinary believers extraordinary impact.
"In you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed."— Genesis 12:3
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations."— Matthew 28:19
Growing in wisdom (intellectual), stature (physical), favor with God (spiritual), and favor with people (social) — as Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52.
Leaders rise from within communities. Groups are led by local people who pass on what they learn to others.
Discovery groups multiply into hubs, hubs into churches, and churches into new communities — across many generations.
Spiritually open, influential community members become the bridge through which IDMM enters and takes root in new communities.
Methods anyone can learn and pass on — no seminary required.
Immediate application of what is discovered in Scripture.
Every step is bathed in prayer — for people, communities, and leaders.
Spiritual, physical, and social transformation are inseparable.
Groups hold one another to what they have learned and committed to do.
Freely received, freely given — knowledge and faith multiply without cost.
IDMM grew out of decades of field experience — learning what truly transforms communities from the inside out.
Community Health Evangelism (CHE) begins in East Africa.
Disciple Making Movement (DMM) principles integrated with CHE methodology and named Integral Disciple Making Movement (IDMM). Dr. Martine Fritsch and her husband were already integrating DMM and CHE in their work in French-speaking Africa.
First IDMM pilot communities launched in Kenya, Uganda, Pakistan and Côte d'Ivoire.
IDMM training curriculum formalized; thousands of IDMM trainers equipped in Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.
Thousands of Discovery Groups active across 14 nations.
Our team of regional trainers and facilitators brings decades of combined experience in community development, church planting, and wholistic ministry across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. They are from local and international organizations — Discovery Global serves as an umbrella, but ownership rests with each organization, who act autonomously.
IDMM works alongside local churches, NGOs, and mission organizations in 14+ nations. We believe in partnership, not paternalism — walking alongside communities rather than leading from the outside.
Training is available for pastors, church leaders, and community development workers worldwide.
